Sonam In Ekta's Wedding Plan!

Now, this is one collaboration we didn't see coming. Sonam Kapoor is all set to star in an Ekta Kapoor film.
SpotboyE has exclusively learnt that Anil Kapoor Films and Balaji Motion Pictures are joining hands for a co-production. Not surprising then that Sonam has bagged the leading role.
It'd be a first for Sonam who hasn't worked in a Balaji film so far in her career while AKP's last co-production was with Disney.
A source close to the development told us, "The film will flag off in the first month of 2016 if not before and will release in the winter."
The project in question is a wedding drama. Wait, another Dolly Ki Doli? "No, it's a quirky comedy very different from Dolly. The movie is still in its concept stages," added the source.
