Sonam Kapoor Extends An Olive Branch Towards Kangana Ranaut; Congratulates Her On Her New Production House

Sonam Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut have not been the best of friends. In the past, they have had a war of words of sorts when one said something about the other. But as all bad things come to an end, it seems Sonam has extended a hand of friendship towards Kangana.

Sonam Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut have not been the best of friends. In the past, they have had a war of words of sorts when one said something about the other. But as all bad things come to an end, it seems Sonam has extended a hand of friendship towards Kangana. She took to Twitter to congratulate Kangana over the inauguration of her production house. It was yesterday that Rangoli Chandel made the announcement of the launch of the production house - Manikarnika Films.

Now, Sonam has congratulated Kangana and the team by replying to Rangoli's tweet. She messaged, "Congratulations to all of you! I hope you guys continue to break glass ceilings." Rangoli who is very active on Twitter soon replied to Sonam saying Thank You. In the pictures posted by Rangoli, we can see Kangana and her brother performing puja at their new office. The images give us a glimpse of the new production house that has many glass windows and more.




Well, seems Sonam has extended an olive branch towards the Ranauts and probably buried the hatchets. It was in 2018 that Sonam had pissed off Kangana Ranaut when she had stated that it is a little difficult to take the Manikarnika actress seriously. It was while talking about the #MeToo movement, Sonam had said, "I think Kangana wrote something. Kangana is obviously Kangana Ranaut. She says a lot of stuff and sometimes is hard to take her seriously. I love the fact that she has spunk and she says what she believes. I really respect for that. I don’t know him, I don’t know the situation. If what is written what is written is true, then it’s disgusting and awful. If it’s true, then they should be punished for it."




Kangana then in an interview with Pinkvilla had given it back to Sonam by saying, "She isn’t known to be a great actress, neither she has the reputation of being a good speaker. What gives these filmy people right to take digs at me? I will demolish each one of them."
