Sonam Kapoor Gets COMPARED To 'Thakur' From Sholay, For Wearing Her Jacket Weirdly At A Mumbai Event- Take A Look
Sonam Kapoor was trolled by the netizens for her recent look at an event in Mumbai
Actress Sonam Kapoor is often hailed as Bollywod’s OG fashionista. While she had been on a break for quite some time now so that she could take care of her newly born son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, she is back to attending events and leaving the internet mesmerised by her looks. Even though she nailed her recent appearance at the launch of Shaadi by Marriott Bonvoy, netizens couldn’t help draw similarities between her ensemble and Sanjeev Kumar’s character Thakur Baldev Singh from the movie Sholay.
Sonam looked mesmerising as she was dressed in a cream coloured anarkali which had a silver gota patti on the hem of her dress. She completed her look with a black jacket that had silver embroidery all over it. Designed by renowned fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, the 27-year-old actress finished her look with thick kohl rimmed eyes, hair tied in a tight bun, rings, bangles and oxidised silver ear cuffs. Fans continuously heaped praises on the actress for stunning looks. They filled the comment section of her post with different coloured heart emojis and fire emojis. They showered her with love and adoration. However, a section of the internet trolled her because of her looks. For the unversed, Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, businessman Anand Ahuja in 2018. The couple announced their pregnancy in March 2022 and they welcomed their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja in August 2022. Talking about her pregnancy, she has been very active in answering questions about her prenatal, pregnancy, and post-natal (journey).
Taking to her Instagram stories, she had opened up about not having stretch marks and breast feeding her baby without any issues. She had mentioned, “I don’t have any stretch marks at all. I've used a combination of these two products (which she shared a picture of) three times a day on my whole trunk area up to my thighs. I also drank collagen, had vitamin C and a lot of protein.”
