Sonam Kapoor Mistaken For Breaking '14-Day Quarantine In London' Amid COVID-19 Outbreak; Actress Hits Back, 'In My Own Garden'
Sonam Kapoor comes under trolls' radar for working out outdoors amid a pandemic; actress clarifies it's the garden attached to her house.
It was only a few days ago that Sonam Kapoor jetted off to London with husband Anand Ahuja amid the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak. The couple has been quarantining together from the past few months. Recently, Sonam had taken to her Instagram to give a glimpse of her workout, which she was doing outdoors. A few people, however, mistook it and accused the actress of being irresponsible amid a pandemic. The actress was quick to take notice and clear the air. She stated how she has been strictly following the quarantine rules and the place was the garden attached to her building.
The journalist in question shared a picture of Sonam and Mouni and accused them of breaking the law. "Meanwhile in London: Indian actresses Sonam Kapoor and Mouni Roy breaking strict 14 day quarantine laws, putting lives in danger & setting bad example by sharing on social media. Both can potentially get arrested if reported to police," read his tweet. To which, a fan responded saying, "Chill Bhai. Sonam is quarantining...she’s working around her house. Maybe see her insta story from today where she clearly says both her and Anand are working from home."
Sonam was quick to take notice and defend herself by writing, "I’m in my own garden attached to my building dude.. fully quarantining.. people have too much time.. just ignore."
