It looks like sneakers played a pivotal role in bringing Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's world together? Yes, it was sneakers that gave us one of the cutest couples in Sonam and Anand. Well, clearing all the question marks from your head, recently, Anand took to his Instagram stories and shared a series of pictures of his friend Deepika Deepti who is also a chief executive officer of Bhaane -their clothing and shoe brand - while wishing her on her birthday. Amongst the pictures, he even shared a picture of his wife in white sneakers and recalled the time when he made his first Snapchat to Sonam Kapoor about her sneakers during their courting period.

Ahuja believed that it was his friend Deepika who made Sonam wear those and hence, that's how the sneakers brought their worlds together. Well, that's a sweet story, isn't it? The picture seemed to be an old one and while sharing the picture of his wife in sneakers, he wrote, "PS… you know that my first ever snapchat message to @sonamkapoor while I was “courting” her was about the selfie she posted on snapchat in these sneakers right? @deepika_deepti and I believe you got her to wear them! So see how sneakers bring the world together!"

Just a few days ago, Ahuja shared a candid picture of his wife and termed this snap as 'Girlfriend Appreciation Post' as he wrote, "I love this picture because it captures the beauty, style and ‘NERDINESS’ of my #everydayphenomenal! #TBT #WillYouBeMyGirlfriend"

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor is currently in London with her husband Anand Ahuja, being showered with congratulatory messages with the opening of her husband’s new café.
