Sonam To Separate From Her Family

Fashionista Sonam Kapoor, come next summer, will move out of her parents plush home in Juhu. The Khoobsurat star has picked a sprawling 7000 sq feet duplex flat in Signature Island, Bandra Kurla Complex. The house costs close to Rs 30 crore.
If sources associated with the property are to be believed, the deal was cracked a month-and-a-half ago. The registration came through in a few weeks, and in approximately 11 months, the actress will move into her new pad.
The speciality of the property is its location. Its in the heart of BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai), and overlooks Sofitel Hotel, Trident Hotel and the American Consulate on three sides. Its proximity to the consulate makes it paparazzi proof.
Banking bigwigs like Uday Kotak will be Sonams new neighbours. Her flat is in the A-Wing and has an open deck for a breathtaking view.
A few months ago, it was rumoured that the actress was looking for a house to move into, so that she could have her share of privacy. She was initially looking for a bungalow but gave up on the idea when she saw a sample flat in Signature Island.
Meetings, costume trials, film trials, girly-get-togethers... theres room for everything in the newly acquired property. The house is divided into three spacious bedrooms, a living area, bathrooms and a kitchen, everything fully equipped. Theres also a mini-theatre inside the residential premises.
The flats in the building are ready for possession post sale. However, they are sold by invitation only. We extended an invitation to Ms Kapoor and she loved the house. However, she took some time to think it over and finally, bought the house 45 days ago. Usually, after sale, a flat is modified to its owners likes and needs. Ms Kapoor has told us a few things which we shall carry out soon. The modification process takes about a year. So, we expect her to move in only next summer, says a source from Sunteck Realty, the builders of the property.
A source close to the actress informed SpotboyE.com that Sonams sister Rhea and mother Sunita are looking into the interiors. They will be supervising the interiors, particularly Sunita, who has also designed their current home in Juhu.
