Alia Bhatt's mom Soni Razdan is busy promoting her upcoming film No Fathers In Kashmir. We caught up with her at Andheri a couple of days ago and the conversation naturally veered towards Alia's on-going love story with Ranbir. Soni was naturally expecting that question at some point and did not bat an eyelid when asked. SEE THE VIDEO BELOW.
However, being in anticipation of that question, the dignified lady held herself back from a longish chat on this particular aspect of her daughter's private life, though mind you she was very candid on several other things about her which we shall bring to you in due course. So yeah, what did she say on Alia having lost her heart to Ranbir?
Well, to begin with she said that so hadn't seen the video of Alia telling Ranbir, " I love you" on the Filmfare Awards stage. Prodded further, she finally said, "Let me put it this way. I am happy for my daughter at all levels. If she is happy, I am happy. That's what any parent would want for his/her daughter." Hmmm...
Mahesh Bhatt too has not elaborated on Alia-Ranbir love story at least yet, except saying that it is obvious that they are in love. We are a tad surprised that Bhatt Saab has gone into a sort of shell when it comes to talking to the media, and of course we asked Soni about that change from his usual frank and forthcoming nature.
