Soni Razdan Shares Friend’s Struggle To Get Her Mom COVID-19 Treatment; Questions BMC ‘How Can You Claim We Are In Control?’,
Veteran actress Soni Razdan is known for fearlessly airing her views on social media, often raising questions and addressing social issues. Recently, she called out the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said that the Coronavirus situation is under control. Soni Razdan also tagged CM Uddhav Thackeray questioning how they could claim that the situation is in control and if they know what citizens are going through. She also shared her friend’s ordeal to get her mother COVID-19 treatment.

In her tweet, Soni Razdan revealed how her friend’s mother could not get a bed, and in her critical state, had to go to 7 hospitals before finding a bed. She stated that we can’t be in control until and unless every citizen easily gets a bed and drugs. She also claimed that her friend had to pull massive strings to get her mother a bed and the drugs. Her tweet read, “Friend’s mother could not get a bed just now. Had to go to 7 hospitals while in critical state bef finding one. Remdesivir not available. Then at double the Govt rate. Till every citizen gets a bed and drugs easily please don’t tell us we’re in control !”

In another tweet, she raised questions for the BMC as well as CM Uddhav Thackeray. “All this is after pulling massive strings. For the hospitals as well as the drugs. How can you claim we are in control ? Don’t you know what citizens are going through ? @mybmc@uddhavthackeray@CMOMaharashtra,” she wrote. Take a look at her tweets below:


After a fan also narrated their experience about getting admission in a hospital, Soni Razdan wrote, “This really needs to be handled better. We realise it’s a pandemic and it’s a daily battle.
