Sonu Sood Cracks First Big Advertisement Commercial Campaign; Things Are Getting 'Bubbly' For Migrants' New Messiah
In these dark times, Sonu Sood turned out to be a hero without a cape. The actor stepped out in the streets and arranged a bus service for the migrants who were stranded in the city. He ensured that his help reaches to every human being who wants to go to their native state. Not worrying about his life, he was in the streets with thousands of migrants who were struggling to go home. This generous gesture touched many lives and people started calling with a ‘migrant messiah.’ After bidding farewell to thousands of migrants amidst the Coronavirus lockdown, a beverage company has signed Sonu Sood for one of its upcoming Instagram campaigns.

The campaign spreads awareness about contactless greetings and urges people to maintain strict social distancing norms to avoid contracting the novel Coronavirus disease that has infected more than two lakh Indians already. Since they want the message to reach the masses in this crucial time, who could be better than Sonu Sood who has gained tremendous popularity and gained more than three million followers on Instagram. The campaign may help him broaden his fan base further as it may eventually be taken to other platforms too. For the same, the Simmba actor took to his Instagram feed and shared a video on the beverage company where he is seen singing the theme song.

Commenting on this, brand consultant Harish Bijoor was quoted saying by MoneyControl portal, “We are passing through a phase of anxiety when celebrities putting out videos on workouts or exotic cooking won’t resonate as well with consumers, versus someone like Sonu who is actually going out there and working with and for people. The big star is no longer all that believable.”

Meanwhile, after his generous gesture to the people, the actor met with the Governor of Maharashtra to brief him about his efforts. For the same, the official handle of the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari tweeted, “Film star @SonuSood called on at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai today. Shri Sood briefed about his ongoing work to help the migrant people to reach their home states and to provide them food. Applauded his great work and assured him of his fullest support in these endeavours." ALSO READ: Sonu Sood Beats Salman Khan In Google Trends; Hero Of Migrants Reigns Over Dabangg Co-Star’s Popularity
