Sonu Sood Shows His Support To Farmers Amidst Their Protests In North India; Says 'Kisaan Mera Bhagwaan'
The farmers' protest in North India is taking a different turn and is growing stronger. Many videos and photos are being circulated on social media that shows their plight. Now, extending support to the farmers, actor Sonu Sood who had become the Messiah of many people during the lockdown, thanks to his humanitarian acts, took to his Twitter account and showed his support towards the farmers amidst the ongoing protest. 

The farmers have been protesting against the Centre's new farm laws. Sonu Sood showed his support as he simply wrote, 'Kisaan Mera bhagwaan'. Even his fans and followers are hailing the actor for showing support to them. One tweeted, "Only one thing in mind after seeing u is hardwork. U r surely raised well by a queen to grow up becoming a king who wins everyone's heart #SonuSoodRealHero @SonuSood" while another one wrote, "sir your rellay great but kisaan was very bad because my father was a farmer but no money no electric no comforts so this life very bad no dreams was fulfil because no opportunity
I was very well cricket player but no use because I have no money ok sir." 
 
Sonu even penned a book titled, 'I Am No Messiah' that talks about the chronicles of his experience and journey during the pandemic. Reasoning, in an interview with a channel, he feels that he is no messiah. "I don’t believe I am a messiah, I think I’m part of their journey, a part of every single migrant who is living and wants to come back to the bigger cities to earn some bread and butter for their family, so I totally believe that the connection I got from the last 6 months, it made me one of them. I don’t believe that I'm any sort of a messiah," he told the channel.
