Sonu Sood is making headlines for all the right reasons. During the tough times of Coronavirus, the Paltan star has become a messiah for migrants as he has been sending them home for months now. Sonu Sood is leaving no chance to help those who are in need amid the lockdown due to COVID-19. As there’s no stopping the actor, he will soon arrange travel for 39 children from the Philippines to New Delhi for their liver transplant surgery. As per reports kids aged between 1-5, will reach the national capital for the medical treatment.

Acknowledging a fan’s request Sonu Sood ret-tweeted and wrote, “Let’s save these precious lives. Will get them to India in the next two days. Lining up for these 39 angels. Pack their bags.” The tweet read, “Filipino kids need to reach Delhi for their life saving liver transplant surgeries bec of liver disease, Biliary Atresia. Paediatric liver transplant has to happen asap. FICCI Philippines support these kids. With no flights, some kids have died. @SonuSood 39 people need to fly.”

Recently Sonu Sood was in news for asking people to come forward to arrange for transportation for migrants stuck in the cities. Tweeting about the same, Sonu Sood had said, “ My humble request to everyone who can afford to help a needy Please come out of ur comfort world, adopt a patient in any hospital near you if you can or at least someone’s medical expenses. If you all do this I promise you half the misery will just vanish. #wakeupcall."
