Sooryavanshi, ’83 Producer And Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibasish Sarkar Hospitalised After Testing POSITIVE For Coronavirus

The Coronavirus pandemic continues to spread globally, and the number of cases has been growing. Over the last few days, the numbers have risen and we also saw cases of Coronavirus at a few celebrities’ homes. First Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor reported that their house helps tested positive, then Karan Johar also confirmed two of his house helps had contracted COVID-19. Now, it has been reported that ’83, Sooryavanshi producer, Reliance Group’s Shibashish Sarkar has tested positive for Coronavirus.
According to a report in PTI, Shibashish Sarkar was hospitalized after he tested positive for Coronavirus. He was reportedly admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital on Saturday after developing a fever. A source confirmed the news to PTI, and said, “He tested positive for COVID-19. He is recovering and his fever has gone down.” Shibashish Sarkar is the Group Chief Executive Officer- Content, Digital, and Gaming at Reliance Entertainment. On Thursday, he attended a webinar in which he talked about the two big releases Sooryavanshi and ’83, backed by Reliance Entertainment.
Earlier, Shibashish Sarkar had confirmed with Mumbai Mirror, that the two films- Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi and Kabir Khan’s ’83 will be released at the cinema screens whenever the government shall re-open the theatres.
In other news, filmmaker Karan Johar had also informed that two of his house helps have tested positive for Coronavirus. He put out a statement on Twitter that read, “I’d like to inform you that 2 members of our household staff have tested positive for Covid-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, they were put under quarantine in a section of our building.
