2020 is going to be a dhamakedaar year for all fans of Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as they will witness not one or two but three big-budget films of the actors. And guess what? These grandeur films will clash at the box-office. Yesterday, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli hosted a press conference where he announced the final cast of their forthcoming film RRR.

The event was attended by Tollywood actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The makers took to social media where they welcomed Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt onboard and also announced the release date of the film. The film is set to hit theatres on July 30, 2020 and will be clashing with Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar.

Also, let us tell you that it will not be just Akshay vs Alia on July 30, the box-office fight also includes latter’s boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor. As RRR and Sooryavanshi are releasing on the same date, the Barfi actor’s big-budget film Shamshera too is scheduled to release a day after Khiladi Kumar and Alia Bhatt’s films. July 30 will see RRR and Sooryavanshi, while July 31 will witness the release of Shamshera.

Considering RRR to be a larger than life film with stellar actors, Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty may avoid the clash, and think about changing the release date of their respective films. Let’s wait and watch who will be the first to announce the new release date. Meanwhile, revealing the release date of the film, the makers of RRR tweeted, "July 30th, 2020... RRR...
