South African Cricketer Herschelle Gibbs Says ' Didn't Know You Were An Actress Alia Bhatt'
Alia Bhatt is a known face in all of India and the actress has managed to woo several worldwide too with her looks and her talented acting skills. Alia who made her debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of the Year has managed to climb up the ladder to being one of Indian Film Industry's leading lady. The actress, whose charm has even got Ranbir Kapoor under her fingers, has surely not struck the doors of South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs as he failed to recognize her. While the world knows of Alia Bhatt, South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs was completely clueless about who the actress was not until a fan pointed it out to him.

Herscelle Gibbs who has played 90 tests, 248 ODIs and 23 T20Is for the Proteas has gone on to make 6167 runs in the longest format of the game whereas he scored 809 runs in ODI cricket. Gibbs who has been quite active on social media took to his twitter to wish his fans a Good Morning. The cricketer on Twitter wrote, “Morning, birds are tweeting so I’ll do the same and say have a good one folks.”


Replying to his own tweet when Twitter liked the tweet posted by the cricketer he expressed his happiness, Gibbs then posted a GIF which featured Alia Bhatt in it. His tweet read, “That feeling when @Twitter likes your tweet.”


A fan immediately commented asking the cricketer, “Do you know Alia??,” Replying to the fan comment Gibbs replied: “ I have no idea who the lady is.”


After getting details about the lady in the GIF that she is Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, Gibbs on his Twitter wrote, “Didn’t know you were an actress @aliaa08 but nice gif.”

Then on being amused, Alia Bhatt replied to Gibbs’s tweet with a sweet gesture. The actress shared a GIF of her gesturing boundary like an umpire.
 Replying to Alia's tweet, Gibbs' tweet read, "I deal in 6s madam not fours."


The talented cricketer Herschelle Gibbs made an announcement about his retirement from the game in the year 2010. Gibbs has been known to be best at his game in fielding and his catching skills while he was also involved in the match-fixing controversy with former captain Hansie Cronje.
