He has received a bit of flak from Bollywood for clamping down on cuss words in films, but he still commands a lot of respect down South.
On Saturday, the new Censor Board Chairman Pahlaj Nihalani was felicitated in Hyderabad.
South superstars Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu were present at the felicitation. A few politicians joined in later.
Pahlaj's best friend Shatrughan Sinha had accompanied him from Mumbai to Hyderabad.
The men in question had a big party after the felicitation.
