Sridevi’s death has left a huge void in the Hindi Film industry and it can never be fulfilled. February 24 marked the death anniversary of the late iconic actress, who breathed her last in 2018 at 54 due to accidental drowning. On the occasion of her death anniversary yesterday, Sridevi was fondly remembered by her family members, fans, well-wishers, and Bollywood celebrities on social media. Boney Kapoor, who often shares priceless memories of his late wife, recalled the time he spent with Sridevi in Venice, Italy.
Taking to his Instagram handle, the producer shared a throwback photo featuring him and Sridevi from their holiday. Alongside it, he wrote, “We drove from Milan to Venice on 7th September 2008 & spent just a few hours in the city , we had made plans of visiting Venice again for longer stay but destiny denied our plans.” The two can be seen sitting on a boat, flashing their radiant smiles for the camera. Boney and Sridevi also twinned in black as they enjoyed their boat ride. This unseen candid click of them is breaking the internet with netizens getting emotional as they remember the late actress.
Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor also remembered the mom Sridevi on her death anniversary with heartfelt posts. Sharing her priceless childhood photo with her mother, the Dhadak actress said she 'hopes to make her mother feel proud as that’s the only thing that keeps them going.'
Padma Shri awardee Sridevi, who had an illustrious career spanning over four decades, breathed her last in the bathroom of her hotel room in Dubai. The autopsy report of the actress cited 'accidental drowning' as the cause of her death.
