Sridevi's AutoBiography 'The Life Of A Legend' Announced; Boney Kapoor To Launch Book On Late Wife, Calls Her A Force Of Nature
Sridevi was one of the most loved and talented actresses in Bollywood. Her sudden demise in 2018 left the entire film industry and her fans heartbroken and numb. While she is still dearly missed by everyone, her producer husband Boney Kapoor is all set to launch Sridevi’s autobiography 'The Life Of A Legend' by end of this year. Yes, you read that right! Boney has announced a book on his late wife and its publishing rights have been acquired by Westland Books.

Sridevi’s biography is written by researcher, writer, and columnist Dhiraj Kumar and it will depict the life of the legendary actress. The book, which is said to be a 360-degree portrait of Sridevi, will reveal many unknown and surprising aspects of the actress's life. The publishers opined that Sridevi’s biography will make readers rediscover the icon. Confirming the autobiography, Boney told Indian Express, “Sridevi was a force of nature. She was the happiest when she shared her art on screen with her fans. But, she was also a fiercely private person. Dhiraj Kumar is someone whom she considered family. He is a researcher, writer, and columnist. We are happy that he is writing a book that befits her extraordinary life.”

Hailed as the first female superstar of Indian cinema, Sridevi’s career spanned over 50 years and she was the recipient of many accolades, including the National Film Award. For the unversed, Sridevi was found unconscious in her bathtub, in Dubai, on February 24, by Boney Kapoor. The death certificate states that the death was caused due to "accidental drowning."
