SRK Rescues Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Manager: Lady Undergoes Skin Grafting Surgery Post Diwali 2019 Mishap

Like every year, Amitabh Bachchan and family hosted a Diwali bash for all their friends from the industry. It was a great party as it saw the biggest names from the industry making their presence felt. However, an unfortunate incident took place at the end of the bash. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's manager Archana Sadanand's lehenga caught fire and she suffered a few burns. Now, she is in the hospital and has reportedly undergone skin grafting surgery.
Archana was rushed to Nanavati Hospital in the wee hours of August 28 as she suffered major burns due to this mishap. Reportedly, she was kept in isolation and was in the ICU. Now, reports suggest that she has undergone a skin grafting surgery on her right leg and her condition is stable.
When the reports of the incident made it to the headlines, it was all about how Shah Rukh Khan jumped in to save her and in turn suffered some minor burns too. Later, reports suggested that it was Aishwary's presence of mind that saved Archana's life. An insider had quoted to TOI, "While SRK did indeed jump into the fray to help Archana Sadanand by taking off his sherwani and got involved in the process too - I felt if it wasn’t for Aishwarya’s presence of mind the situation could have been much much worse for her— the fire was flaring up real quick and if she didn’t rip off Archana’s clothes like she did, to limit the damage - things could have turned out very different and graver than it is". On Shah Rukh Khan's birthday, during a press meet, he was asked to share deets about the incident, to which, he said, "I don't want to talk about this. It's personal."
