Star Screen Awards 2019: Simmba Ranveer Singh Schools Sara Ali Khan After She Forgets Aankh Marey Step
When Ranveer Singh is in the house expect something unusual and out of the box! Star Screen Awards 2019 that took place last night, were no different where we saw Ranveer dancing with his Simmba co-star Sara Ali Khan
Yesterday, on December 8, the night was quite a starry one as we saw many Bollywood stars rolling on the red carpet. From Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani to Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, every Bollywood stars have put their best fashion foot forward while leaving the camera lenses wild and crazy. Speaking of Ranveer Singh, knowing that he always offers something quirky during any award functions, we were hoping to see the same zest in last night’s event, oh boy, he did not fail our fail expectation. This time he danced on the red-carpet, oh wait, that’s not it, he didn’t dance alone, no, Deepika didn’t join him but it was his Simmba co-star Sara Ali Khan instead. Yes, that’s right.
On the red carpet, as Sara was posing for the clicks, Ranveer enters and on seeing her there, he then put on Aankh Marey song on his JBL speaker and the two shook a leg on the song. However, while they were dancing, Sara was missing out on a few steps as she forgot about it but Mr Singh ensured that the lady gets it right and hence, he schooled her before they danced in sync. It was really amazing to see them dancing on the tunes of Aankh Marey from their film, Simmba. Watch the videos below:
Meanwhile, Ranveer and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy won big at Star Screen Awards 2019. The Padmaavat actor took Best Actor Male Popular award home while Alia took the Female Popular award. Best Director, Best Music, Best Film and many more were owned by Gully Boy. MC Sher Siddhant Chaturvedi won Best Promising Actor award. On the other hand, Sara won Most Promising Actor for Kedarnath.
