Suniel Shetty CONFIRMS Daughter Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul’s Wedding; Says, ‘Hopefully Soon, I Am Looking At Possible Dates’
Suniel Shetty has finally confirmed that his daughter Athiya and KL’s Rahul will be getting married soon!
Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty often grabs headlines owing to her wedding reports with cricketer KL Rahul. Earlier, it was reported that the couple is planning to get married in January 2023 and is busy with their wedding shopping. However, all such reports were neither confirmed by Athiya and Rahul nor by their families. Interestingly, Suniel has now finally confirmed their wedding and revealed it will happen soon as he is looking at the possible dates.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the Dhadkan actor mentioned that considering both Athiya and Rahul’s hectic work schedules, he is figuring out things. Suniel also shared that at the right time, everyone will know about the good news. The actor was quoted saying, “I am looking at the possible dates. With both their schedules, we are figuring out things. Hopefully soon, we will know when and where will it (wedding) happen. It was earlier reported that Rahul and Shetty had decided to ditch a 5-hotel as their wedding venue and instead are keen to tie the knot in Suniel Shetty's residence 'Jahaan' in Khandala.
As per reports, Athiya and KL Rahul, who met through a common friend, have been in a serious relationship for the past three years. The lovebirds instantly hit off at their first meeting itself and later fell in love. Last year, on the actress’ birthday, they made their relationship official on Instagram by sharing their romantic photos. Athiya and KL Rahul first appeared as a couple in front of the media at the special screening of Ahan Shetty’s debut film ‘Tadap’ where they happily posed together for the paparazzi.
