Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty, daughter of actor Suniel Shetty is rumoured to be dating cricketer KL Rahul. They constantly share pictures and engage in social media PDA; however, neither Athiya nor Rahul have confirmed their relationship yet. In the past few days, the rumoured couple has sparked rumoured of them vacationing together in England. Athiya’s brother Ahan is also holidaying with the rumoured couple. Amidst the speculation about Athiya being in England, her dad confirmed it. He also talked about KL Rahul and Athiya’s rumoured relationship.
Speaking with Bombay Times, Suniel Shetty confirmed Athiya is in England and said, “Yes, she is in England, but she is with Ahan. The brother-sister duo has gone there for a holiday. Rest you may check with them.” It was only a few days ago when the actor had shared a video of KL Rahul and Ahan on his Instagram. He posted the video of the boys from their morning run and captioned it, “My Love My Strenght (sic)”. Reacting to the same, Suniel Shetty said, “Ahan and Rahul are friends. My message was dedicated to both of them. Rahul is one of my favourite cricketers.” Not to forget, it was only some days back when KL Rahul had shared pictures of Ahan and him from Buxton Street. He had captioned the post as “Happy Vibes”.
Talking about the cricketer and his daughter Athiya’s equation, Suniel Shetty thinks they look brilliant together. He said, “I think it is best you speak to them. As far as the ad goes… I mean it is an international brand and they chose to take the two of them as the ambassadors. I think they look brilliant together. They are a good-looking couple, na? So, it totally works from a brand perspective. And I must say, they look good together, well, in the ad (laughs!).” KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty recently turned brand ambassadors for an eyewear brand. They made an official post too, sharing pictures of them from a photoshoot.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are reportedly in London together. According to reports, Rahul has listed Athiya as his ‘partner’ before leaving for the World Test Championship Finals in England last month. As per rules, the players are required to notify if they will be travelling with their wives or partners for the series.
