Suniel Shetty Reacts To Sanjay Dutt's Lung Cancer Diagnosis, ‘He Has Gone Through Hell, Praying To God To Help Him Recover Faster’
Speaking about his good friend Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty said Dutt has been through hell in his life and now he’s praying to the God for his speedy recovery
Recently, the news of Sanjay Dutt being diagnosed with Lung Cancer took social media by storm. Later, the actor announced that he’s taking a short break for medical treatment. Wife Maanayata Dutt arrived in Mumbai to be by her husband's side during the tough times. After completing her quarantining period, the celebrity couple was snapped leaving their home for their visit to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Now as per the latest update, Sanjay Dutt has procured a five-year visa for the US on medical grounds and is expected to fly to New York along with Maanayata Dutt and Priya Dutt for his cancer treatment.
As the news has left everyone heartbroken and praying for Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty recently spoke to Times Of India about the actor. He said, “Now, you hear about Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) being unwell. Be it morning or evening, he is always consciously in my prayers. He has gone through hell. I am praying to God to help him recover faster.”
Speaking about getting sad news this year, Shetty said, “I don’t even want to talk about what has happened this year because every day when you see pictures of the people we have lost, it hurts. It hurts like crazy. People have loved them as an individual not only as actors. They have lived life and they were such wonderful people. They were knowledge banks. That is what hurts the most.”

On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film, Sadak 2, is ready for a release on August 28 on Disney+Hotstar VIP. Apart from this, he also has Torbaaz, Bhuj: The Pride India, Shamshera and KGF 2 in the pipeline.
