Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty is currently riding high on the success of his web-shows. He made the headlines for reuniting with Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar for the third instalment of Hera Pheri recently. For the past few months, he has been opening up about his experience of working with other actors from his generation. While he has mostly good things to say about his co-stars, he expressed a complaint about Govinda in a recent interview.

Talking to ETimes, he heaped praises on the veteran and termed him as one of the finest performers in Bollywood. Suniel expressed how Govinda was born to be idolised, to impress the audience. While he is a humble human being, according to the actor, he “gives you a complex when he stands with you or performs in front of you.” However, the 61-year-old went to share that he is miffed with the comedian. Having worked together in 2011, for the movie Loot, Shetty said that Govinda needs to get back to working. Quoted by Koimoi, he said, “I am upset with him because he is not working enough. He’s not working every day. He needs to get back. The actor is currently in seventh heaven as his beloved daughter Athiya tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul. They had opted for an intimate South Indian wedding, after being in a steady relationship for the past few years. They had made their relationship official during the screening of Athiya’s brother Ahaan Shetty’s film Tadap in December 2021.

On the work front, after acing his performance in ‘Hunter: Tootega Nahi, Todega,’ Suniel Shetty will be seen reuniting with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal for the third installment of their cult-classic movie Hera Pheri. The actor’s will be reprising their iconic roles of Shyam, Raju and Baburao respectively. The movie will be directed by Farhad Samji.
