Sunny Deol’s Security Beefed Up, Actor Gets Y-Security Days After Speaking In Favour Of New Farm Laws

A host of Bollywood celebrities have been speaking up about the farmers’ protest which is taking place in North India. The views of celebrities about the farm laws are divided. A few days ago, Bollywood actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol tweeted in favour of the farm laws and said that the matter should remain between the farmers and government. Now, NDTV reports that the actor has been given Y-security, and the upgrade comes a few days after his tweet about the farm laws.
This upgrade in security means that Sunny Deol will now have 11 personnel, including two commandos and policemen, always with him, according to a report in NDTV. Sunny Deol is a Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur in Punjab. In his tweet, Sunny Deol had urged people not to interfere and that the matter remains solely between farmers and the government. He suggested that many people wanted to create problems by taking advantage of the situation.
“I request the entire world that this matter remains between our farmers and the government. Do not interfere, because they will find a way after holding discussions. I know that many people want to take advantage of it and create problems. They are not thinking of the farmers and may have their own agenda,” he wrote.
In his statement, Sunny Deol also wrote that our government always thinks of farmers’ welfare, and that he is sure that the government will ensure the right outcome after talking it out with the farmers.
