Since June, Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput who reportedly ended their lives have created a storm on social media as well as in the Bollywood Industry. Even the country's federal agencies had to intervene and started investigating the case minutely. Sushant's former manager Disha Salian allegedly jumped from a high-rise building on June 8, and a few days later, the news of Sushant ending his life by reportedly hanging himself at his Bandra residence came out on June 14. It has been four months now and netizens seem to have gotten all worked up as CBI officials have still not released the closure report. Despite AIIMS ruling out the murder theory and claimed it to be a case of suicide, social media users still feel it’s a murder. Demanding an answer on SSR and Disha's case, Twitterverse started trending #CBIUpdateOnSSRDisha with a hope to get the verdict soon.
Earlier, the anticipation to know the closure report of SSR's death was rising among the netizens and with the delay in it, they even started trending #CBIWhoKilledSSR on Twitter. Once again, they came online together for SSR and Disha while demanding the CBI to break their silence on it. Among many, a user demanded, "Nation wants to know what happened on the night of 13th June? CBI plzz break ur silence and plzz #CBIUpdateOnSSRDisha" Another impatient fan wanted to know the truth as he tweeted, "TRUTH will always be TRUTH, regardless of lack of UNDERSTANDING, DISBELIEF or IGNORANCE !! SSR and DISHA were brutally killed and no one can suppress these TRUTH for long. So, #CBIUpdateOnSSRDisha plzz. Don't waste more time."
There was one more who mentioned, "CBI if u r thinking to end this case as Suicide then it ur mistake because the whole world know that Sushant was murdered also we all know the names of Murderers so better if u take ds case to its logical conclusion as soon as possible @ips_nupurprasad @NiteshNRane #CBIUpdateOnSSRDisha"

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has filed an affidavit in Bombay High Court seeking dismissal of the petition filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters. The actor's sisters filed a petition requesting quashing of the FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty against them.
