Sushant Singh Rajput's unexpected and tragic demise has come as a huge shocker for the entire country. Some while ago, the actor committed suicide by hanging himself to death in his residence in Bandra. Depression is being reported as the alleged reason behind his death. Ever since the news broke, fans and celebrities from across are mourning the death of an exceptionally talented and a gem of a person like Sushant. Some while ago, the moral remains of Sushant Singh Rajput were taken to Bandra's Cooper Hospital in an ambulance. Now, the actor's team has issued an official statement on his tragic death for all the fans across.
In their statement, the late actor's team urged fans to always keep the actor in his thoughts and cherish his life and work. "It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us. We request his fans to keep him in their thoughts and celebrate his life, and his work like they have done so far. We request media to help us maintain privacy at this moment of grief,” read the official statement. Though Sushant Singh Rajput did commit suicide, no note or letter was recovered from his home, confirmed the police officials.
“Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide, Mumbai Police is investigating,” said DCP Pranay Ashok, spokesperson Mumbai Police.
Journalist Sudhir Chaudhary, who was among the first ones to break this tragic news, had tweeted, "Sushant hanged himself at his home in Mumbai. Documents show he was under treatment for depression."
