Sushant Singh Rajput's unfortunate death has been confirmed by police as a team arrived at the actor's home after they learnt about the same. The Kedarnath actor was under treatment for depression, say reports.
Here’s shocking news coming in from the industry. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Bandra. The actor, who was last seen opposite Sara Ali Khan in Kedarnath, reportedly hanged himself. After his successful career in TV with the longest-running show Pavitra Rishta, Sushant Singh Rajput, made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che. The actor’s death was confirmed by police and a team arrived at the actor's home after they learnt about the same.
As per the latest reports, Sushant Singh Rajput was under treatment for depression. Taking to Twitter journalist Sudhir Chaudhary wrote, “Sushant hanged himself at his home in Mumbai. committed suicide at his residence in Bandra. Our team is there.”
Taking to social media, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family.” While Anurag Kashyap expressed the shock by tweeting, “Wtf .. this is not true.”
