Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, on June 14, 2020. Since then, there has been outrage on social media, with many fans demanding a CBI probe into Sushant’s death. While Sushant’s final post mortem report states that he died of asphyxia due to hanging, a certain section of people sensed foul play and have been asking for a CBI probe. Now, in an interaction with Republic TV, the ambulance driver Akshay Bandgar and the owner of the ambulance, Laxman Bandgar had their own versions of who brought Sushant’s corpse down on that day.
The report in Republic states that there were two ambulances present on June 14 at Sushant's residence, and now there are now different versions on who brought Sushant’s corpse down. In a conversation with Republic, Akshay Bandgar, the ambulance driver said, “I brought the body down. We are hired by the police only. Have been receiving threat calls since that day from International numbers." Ambulance owner Laxman Bandgar told Republic that it was Mumbai Police that brought the corpse down.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case so far has seen a lot of turns, and a few days ago, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Bihar accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetting his suicide, among other accusations.

Following that, a team of Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai and has been investigating Sushant’s death. Patna SP Vinay Tiwari will lead the Bihar Police team probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s case and he arrived in Mumbai yesterday.
