Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Bihar Police To Ask For Electronic Evidence And Phone Call Records Of The Late Actor

After an FIR was filed against Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty which was done by his father, the Bihar Police and Mumbai Police are now rigorously investigating the matter. Earlier, while speaking to Republic TV, the lawyer Vikas Singh alleged that as mentioned in the FIR, the Bihar Police will be investigating the transactions that were allegedly done by Rhea Chakraborty and for the same, they will also be visiting Rajput's bank to know the details. Nevertheless, the latest development suggests that the Bihar Police will now go through the electronic evidence that includes CCTV footage, call detail records, videography of Sushant's dead body and footage of the death spot, as claimed by Republic TV.

According to the portal, the Bihar police is most likely to ask for the electronic evidence from the Mumbai police. The portal also mentioned that earlier, Police had asked for CCTV cameras recording in his building but found out that no CCTV camera was installed in his house. The portal's source claimed that the team is likely to question TV actress Ankita Lokhande and the late actor's Chartered Accountant (CA) as well.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty has reportedly filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death to Mumbai. Earlier, the actress was not present at her house when Bihar Police reached her residence for interrogation.

Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide after reportedly hanging himself in his Bandra residence on June 14. The actor was said to be suffering from depression for the past many months before ending his life.
