Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: CBI To Summon Eyewitness Who Saw SSR With Rhea Chakraborty On June 13- Reports
Eyewitness who claims to have seen Sushant Singh Rajput with Rhea Chakraborty on June 13, will be summoned by the CBI for questioning, reports Republic
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and as per reports, the agency will summon the witness who claimed to have seen Sushant Singh with Rhea Chakraborty on June 13. This is contradictory to Rhea’s narrative where she alleged that she walked out of Sushant’s life and house on June 8 at the late actor’s behest. Now, Republic reported that a witness saw Sushant dropping Rhea on June 13, and the central agency will be sending a summon to the witness for questioning.
Yesterday, Republic had reported that Rhea Chakraborty’s neighbour confirmed that Sushant and Rhea indeed met on June 13. The neighbor said that an eyewitness revealed that he/she saw Sushant dropping Rhea at her house at around 6-6:30. Rhea’s neighbor told Republic, “The person told me this in June itself before any of this had gone to CBI or even before Rhea had said anything. The person had said, 'Oh! he passed away, I had just seen him drop her off on 13th evening.' Nothing was known at that time that what else will come up. I have not seen anything and Yes, I am Rhea's neighbour.”
Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, and after his death, Mumbai Police began investigating the late actor’s death. In July, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Patna, accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetment of Sushant’s suicide.

After the Supreme Court’s verdict, the CBI took over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and the agency has been probing it. Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau are also probing the financial aspects and a drug angle in the case respectively.
Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB and her judicial custody has reportedly been extended by Special NDPS court till October 20 along with her brother Showik Chakraborty.
