Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise has only brewed a storm on social media and everywhere else. It was on June 14 that the Kedarnath actor passed away following a shocking course of events in his Mumbai apartment. Reportedly, Sushant was suffering from depression and hung himself to death. The police investigation in this matter is underway; however, fans are demanding a CBI probe instead. As per them and a couple of prominent celebrities, Sushant didn't die due to suicide and was murdered. Adding fuel to the fire was Sushant's father KK Singh's FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. The Jalebi actress has been accused of several wrongdoings.
Now, a report in Indian Express has spilled the beans on what Sushant Singh Rajput searched on Google before his demise. As per a police officer, Sushant reportedly Google searched his own name, the name of his ex-manager Disha Salian and some information about mental illness. It has to be noted that Disha Salian breathed her last, just a few days before Sushant's death. Indian Express reported, "The officer said that on June 14, even a few hours before committing suicide, he had Googled his own name." As per the portal, this information has come from forensic reports of the late actor's phone and laptop that were received from the Kalina Forensic Laboratory.
The investigating officers have also gotten their hands on the bank account details of Sushant. “All the accounts where money had been transferred were known. The largest transfer was Rs 2.8 crore last year, which was for GST,” reported the officer to Indian Express. The officer added, “We found that Sushant knew there was talk linking him to Salian’s death and he was worried this speculation might reach the media. That is why he may have been searching online. These issues seem to have exacerbated his condition. He had Googled his own name a few hours before the suicide."
