Narcotics Control Bureau stepped into Sushant Singh Rajput's death case reportedly after the Enforcement Directorate found some proofs against Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik Chakraborty revealing their consumption and dealing in drugs. Now, as per a report in Times Now, the NCB has found criminal culpability in Rhea's circle and found links between her brother Showik Chakraborty and big players of Mumbai's Drug Cartel. The report says that NCB has gone on record to state that they have found two individuals linked to Showik who are a part of the drug cartel.

The report further suggests that the NCB has made one arrest in this case who will have to face the trial in the court of law as there is technical evidence. This means, sometime in the future, Showik Chakraborty will also have to testify in court, says the report.

Earlier, a few chats allegedly exchanged between Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty and friends like Samuel Miranda, Siddharth Pithani and others discussing procuring and consuming drugs had made their way to the internet. After the chats got revealed, Rhea Chakraborty was accused of giving drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput without his knowledge, by mixing in his coffee.


Currently, the Central Bureau of Investigation is probing Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The Kai Po Che actor died on June 14, and after almost a month and a half of his demise, his father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty reportedly accusing her of abetment to suicide and more.
