Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: No Proof So Far To Suggest The Late Actor Was Murdered; Probe Is Still On, Say CBI Officers: Report
CBI officers told India Today that they found no proof of homicide in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case yet, however, they also added that the investigation is still open
The CBI has taken over the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case after the Supreme Court passed the verdict. Since then, several people linked to the late actor such as Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Siddharth Pithani, Cook Neeraj, staff member Dipesh Sawant, and many others have been questioned. Today, Rhea's parents, Indrajit Chakraborty and Sandhya Chakraborty also reached the DRDO guesthouse for interrogation. Now, India Today reported that the CBI has found no proof so far to suggest that Sushant was murdered.
Three CBI officers, who are a part of the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case reportedly told India Today that so far they haven’t found any proof of homicide or any evidence that suggests that Sushant was murdered. However, the investigation is still open, they said. India Today also reported that the CBI officials are focusing on the suicide angle and examining whether a case for ‘abetment to suicide’ can be made. The CBI reportedly has elaborately reconstructed the crime scene, gone through evidence collected by the Mumbai Police and have also quizzed key suspects, however, according to the team probing the case, none of these suggest that it’s a case of homicide yet.
India Today reports that while the CBI’s focus is more on the suicide angle, they aren’t ruling out the murder investigation just yet.

Meanwhile, Times Now reported that Kotak Mahindra bank manager has joined the CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Sushant Singh Rajput had an account in the bank and in the police complaint filed by Sushant’s father KK Singh, he alleged that Rs 15 crore was transacted to unknown bank accounts from Sushant’s Kotak Mahindra bank account.
