Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s mysterious death has left many wanting to know the reason behind it. Since the Supreme Court ordered the CBI probe in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, CBI’s SIT is investigating the case. So far, the SIT has recreated the crime scene and also questioned SSR’s friend Siddharth Pithani and cook Neeraj. Now, as the CBI team investigates the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the latest reports state that the SIT has found some ‘procedural lapses’ by the Mumbai Police.

Times Now reported that CBI's SIT team has found some ‘procedural lapses’ by the Mumbai Police. According to the reports, a senior official shared some details on the procedural lapses. While the CBI team continues to investigate the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the first lapse that SIT found was that the late actor’s body wasn’t handled properly. The report stated that SSR’s mortal remains were not handled properly.

Further on, the report stated that that the second lapse was that the crime scene sanctity was compromised. As the crime scene must always be preserved, the channel reported the lapses and mentioned how both the things were not done properly. It was also reported that the walls of SSR’s residence were re-painted or whitewashed.

Meanwhile, so far, the CBI reconstructed the crime scene, with Siddharth Pithani and cook Neeraj to understand the happenings on the afternoon of June 14. On the other hand, Republic reported that the Enforcement Directorate shared evidence of SSR’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, using and dealing with drugs, to the CBI team.
