Sushant Singh Rajput Death: CBI Team Arrives In Mumbai, Set To Begin The Investigation In SSR’s Death Case From Tomorrow

Just yesterday came the verdict of Supreme Court giving a go-ahead to CBI to investigate actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The verdict was hailed by the nation, late actor’s family, friends and fans, ultimately seeing a ray of hope to find the truth behind the actor’s untimely death. Just a couple of minutes ago, came pictures of the CBI team from Delhi assigned on the case arriving in Mumbai. The team was received by Mumbai’s CBI team at the airport. The pictures hitting the internet can see media mobbing the team which will be handling the case from now on.
CBI team from Delhi includes Anil Yadav, Gangandeep Gambhir, Nupur Prasad and Manoj Sashidhar who will investigate this case. Also, as per reports, the team will be exempted from quarantine period if they are here in Mumbai for 7 days. As per reports in ANI, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said, "If CBI team comes for 7 days they will be automatically exempted from quarantine and if they come for more than seven days period then they have to apply for exemption through our email id and we'll exempt them."
The CBI team from the capital will begin the investigation in the actor’ death case from tomorrow.

Prior to the CBI team, after SSR’s father KK Singh filed an FIR, a team of 4 members was sent by Bihar Police to investigate in this matter, but they returned to Bihar stating lack of coordination from the Mumbai Police in this case. Also, Patna City SP Vinay Tiwari was quarantined in Mumbai after he came from Bihar limiting his investigation in this matter only via video conference due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
