After the Supreme Court handed over the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput to CBI on Wednesday, the team approached Mumbai on Thursday evening for the investigation. Now, according to Republic TV, the latest development suggests that the CBI will now question Sushant Singh Rajput's friend Sandip Ssingh who was spotted at Sushant's apartment when he passed away on June 14. Just a while ago, CBI had summoned Sushant's cook Neeraj for questioning and the latest one to be called in by CBI is Sandip Ssingh, who has claimed to be Sushant's close friend. The report even purported that there have been a lot of inconsistencies in his statements while narrating the scene at his apartment the day Sushant died and his presence on June 14 has raised suspicions as well.
Sandip Ssingh even received severe backlash from social media users due to his statements in the media and a lot more. Moreover, the family of Sushant has said they never heard of Sandip Ssingh before. Even Rajput's niece, Mallika Singh mentioned that the family does not know Ssingh but alleged that he was present when Sushant’s sister Mitu Singh fainted after seeing the actor's mortal remains. Meanwhile, after the Supreme Court's verdict, Sandip was elated with the decision as he even took to his Instagram account and shared a post which read, "Thank you #SupremeCourt Finally" but he limited the comment sections after the backlash from SSR fans.
Apart from all this, the recent updates on Sushant Singh Rajput's CBI probe, CBI team has collected evidence related to the Dil Bechara actor from the Bandra Police. It is also reported that Rhea Chakraborty will be questioned by CBI and she is likely to be taken in custody, as claimed by SSR's father KK Singh’s lawyer Vikas Singh.
