Deepika Padukone’s ex-manager Karishma Prakash was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials, in connection to the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood, following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Karishma came under the NCB scanner after her name cropped up during an investigation. The NCB officials also found hashish and CBD oil when they raided her residence. Now, in a significant development in the drug probe, Deepika’s ex-manager is allegedly linked to 2 drug peddlers, as per CNN News18 reports. As per the reports, the NCB is unsatisfied with her answers.

According to the report, Karishma Prakash was questioned about her whereabouts since the last few days, after it was reported that she is untraceable. The report stated that Karishma answered to the questions, but the NCB found them unsatisfactory. As per the report, during the interrogation, Prakash claimed to be innocent regarding the use of CBD oil found in her apartment and also mentioned that it does not belong to her.

Padukone’s former manager, who is being questioned by the NCB is currently being quizzed about the new finding in the drug case, said the report. As per the report, Karishma was also questioned about the work culture at KWAN Talent Management. She revealed during the interrogation that she is no longer an employee at KWAN and mentioned that she has resigned. The report stated that Deepika’s former manager was also quizzed about her connection to the two-drug peddlers arrested by the agency. She claimed that she has never heard of their names and has no contact with them, as per the report.

Meanwhile, the NCB officials raided Karishma’s Versova residence last month, in the presence of her acquaintances. She appeared before the NCB after evading summons issued to her by the agency.
