While the CBI continues to investigate the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, now, a picture of his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty holding a Mango cake from June 12 has resurfaced and fans claim that she was at SSR’s Bandra residence on that day.
The latest unexpected twist has come in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case due to a post on Instagram that raises speculations about his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s whereabouts on June 12, exactly two days before the actor’s alleged suicide. While the Jalebi actress has reportedly maintained that she left SSR’s Bandra residence on June 8 to move to her parent’s house, after Sushant asked her to, the post on social media with Rhea posing with a mango cake in her hand states otherwise.
Talking about the picture, Rhea is holding the cake and poses as she tastes the cream-filled Mango cake in her hand. As per a report in the Times of India, Rhea had taken to her Instagram stories earlier to share pictures of her posing with the Mango cake, by a window. Now, fans speculate that the windows by which Rhea is posing are of Sushant’s flat. With Rhea Chakraborty seeking legal counsel against SSR's family over false allegations, fans are tagging the late actor’s sisters in the post, asking them to verify the truth behind the post shared on June 12.

Meanwhile, as fans continue to speculate, reports fail to clarify whether Rhea Chakraborty was present at Sushant’s Bandra residence on June 12, or the pictures were clicked on some other day and shared on that day. On the other hand, Rhea Chakraborty also tagged Shruti Modi in the Instagram stories post that she made. The actress mentioned to Shruti Modi, one whose name is mentioned in the FIR lodged by SSR’s father, about the taste of the cake.
