Instagram adds ‘remembering’ to Sushant Singh Rajput’s Instagram account after his death, making it a memorialized account
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death left the nation shocked. The film fraternity, as well as the actor’s fans, were heartbroken and shattered after finding out the tragic news. Sushant was found dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, on June 14. His suicide case is currently being investigated and all those who were in contact with the late actor for the last 10 days leading up to his suicide will be summoned for interrogation. Yesterday, his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s statement was recorded and the interrogation went on for many hours.
After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Instagram has now memorialized his profile, adding a ‘remembering’ banner over his name on the official handle. According to Instagram, memorialized accounts are a place to remember and celebrate someone’s life after their demise, and the posts that the deceased person had shared on their Instagram account, will still be visible for the audience to see. However, once the account has been memorialized, no one can log into it, or make any sort of changes to the existing posts or comments.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had stated that the angle of ‘professional rivalry’ will also be probed in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.

It was recently revealed in a Pinkvilla report the details of what went down during Rhea Chakraborty’s interrogation yesterday. A source informed the portal that Rhea was questioned about their relationship, Sushant’s alleged depression, his films, and projects, among other things. Rhea reportedly told the police that Sushant had plenty work, and was also in talks for more.
