In an interview with Republic TV, Kangana Ranaut revealed four names of people from the film industry who haven’t been summoned yet for interrogation in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. According to the Manikarnika actress, producer Aditya Chopra, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, filmmaker-producer Karan Johar and film critic Rajeev Masand should be called for questioning.

The actress said, “I am not saying that anyone wanted Sushant to die, but definitely doomed. These people are emotional vultures. They want to see people lynch themselves. To date, Mahesh Bhatt is selling Parveen Babi's illness in so many versions through his films. Why is Mumbai Police not summoning — Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Rajeev Masand? These 4 people. Why, because they are powerful?  With this interview, I only have things to lose."

As Kangana spoke without hesitation and fear the actress also spoke on Nepotism. She added, “Tomorrow, needy outsiders like Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker will get up and say that they love this industry. I am only saying if you love this industry and if you love Karan Johar, then why are you not getting work like Alia or Ananya? Their whole existence is proof of nepotism. There will be articles that will make me look like a mad person after this, I know." While Kangana opened up about Nepotism, she also went on to call the investigation by Mumbai Police a ‘sham’. Meanwhile, as Kangana Ranaut called the investigation led by the Mumbai Police, a sham, she went on to raise questions on why have the four people she named haven’t been summoned. As filmmaker Shekhar Kapur was one of the people summoned by the Mumbai police in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Ranaut called him a  God-like figure in the industry.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 and was found dead in his Mumbai residence. The post-mortem reports of the actor stated that he died due to asphyxia, caused because of hanging. In Sushant’s suicide case, the Mumbai Police have recorded the statements of over 30 people until now and is investigating further. It was reported recently that Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh revealed that no CBI probe is required in Sushant’s death case and mentioned that the police are competent enough to handle such cases.
