The whole narrative of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case changed when his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and six others. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14, and nearly a month and a half after the actor’s death, the Mumbai Police is still investigating the case. According to a PTI report, on Tuesday, the Mumbai Police named Grant Thornton as the forensic auditor in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. As the police officials are investigating various aspects like professional rivalry, depression and financial transactions in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, Mumbai police decided to appoint a team of financial forensic experts to make sure if any suspicious transactions took place.
While addressing the media about the case, on Monday, Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh said that the FIR by Bihar police mentioned that Rs 15 crore was siphoned off from Sushant Singh Rajput's account. As per the report, he also said, “During the probe, we found he had Rs 18 crore in his account of which around Rs 4.5 crore are still there.” Meanwhile, as per the report, the official also added that there is no confirmation that a direct transfer to the account of Rhea Chakraborty is made yet.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, and her family members accusing them of abetment of suicide. Meanwhile, as the Mumbai police continue to investigate, until now, they have recorded the statements of over 35 people in connection to Sushant’s case.
