Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Mumbai Police To Record Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Statement On July 6
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, and the Mumbai Police is currently investigating his death. So far, many people linked to the late actor were summoned by the cops, and their statements were recorded. This includes Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, his Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi, director Mukesh Chhabra, Yash Raj Films' casting director Shanoo Sharma, among others. There were also reports that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be summoned.

Now, a police official informed PTI that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s statement will be recorded on Monday, that is on July 6, in connection with the suicide case of Sushant Singh Rajput. The report also stated that the filmmaker had offered films to the late actor, however, things could not work out between them due to date issues. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been summoned by the Bandra Police, and his statement will be recorded on Monday.

The Mumbai Police are also probing the angle of ‘professional rivalry’ in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.


Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut’s team rubbished claims of Kangana Ranaut being summoned by the Mumbai Police in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Her team shared a tweet that read, “Ms #KanganaRanaut hasn't received any such request from @MumbaiPolice yet, but as and when she does, she is more than willing to co-operate."

Sushant Singh Rajput’s final post mortem report confirmed that he died due to asphyxia, suffocation, because of hanging. A report in India Today stated that the final report confirmed there were no struggle marks or external injuries found on his body. Zee News also reported that his viscera report was found negative for any kind of suspicious chemicals or poison.
