Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Narcotics Control Bureau To Initiate Probe After ED Finds Proof Of Rhea Using And Dealing In Narcotics
Narcotics Control Bureau to investigate SSR’s death case after Rhea Chakraborty’s connection to narcotics comes to the surface
As per reports in Republic, it was stated that late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has been dealing and using narcotics. The ED has proof of the same which they have handed over to the CBI. Now as per the latest reports in India Today, Narcotics Control Bureau will also investigate in the actor’s death in connection to drugs. Rakesh Asthana director of NCB has affirmed of beginning the investigation in SSR’s case including drug angle in it. Sources of the said publication also mention that the people connected to the actor used to consume the drug, who also had contacts with the drug dealers.
Rakesh Asthana, director of Narco Control Bureau told India Today, "We are also starting the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case." In recent times, SSR’s cook Neeraj too had revealed in his statement of rolling joints for the actor. According to India Today, in his statement, the actor used to often party at his residence followed by consuming alcohol and smoking joints. The actor’s death which was earlier reported due to suicide has taken a mysterious turn, hinting it to be murder as per the ongoing investigation.
So far CBI team has interrogated the actor’s cook Neeraj twice, followed by SSR’s friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani who was also questioned today, the third day in a row.

As per India Today, Neeraj’s statement read, “Sushant sir would party once or twice every week with Anandi, Rhea, and Ayush at home. He would consume liquor and marijuana during those parties. Samuel Jacob would roll the joints for Sushant sir. Sometimes I would roll the joints for him. Before Sushant sir committed suicide, I rolled the marijuana cigarettes for him for three days which were kept in a cigarette case in a cupboard near the staircase.
