Last evening the news of Patna SP Vinay Tiwari reaching Mumbai to lead the investigation in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case was confirmed by ANI. However, soon following this news came yet another news of the SP being quarantined for 14 days upon reaching Mumbai. Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti and Bihar’s CM Nitish Kumar reacted to the news. Now, the SP has ensured the investigation will go on despite remaining in quarantine.
The top cop of Patna in conversation with the journalist of CNN News 18 ensured even though he remains quarantined, the investigation will not hit a roadblock. According to him, the team of 4 members which was already deployed in Mumbai a few days ago, will be updating him on a regular basis, thus sharing the progress in the case. Also explaining his way of work, as he remains quarantined, he mentioned connecting with his team via calls and video calls during this period.
When quizzed about the 4 members of his team also being asked to remain quarantined, he replied that he has no knowledge about it so far. Watch the video below-
As per reports in Mid Day, Vinay Tiwari mentioned there is a lack of coordination between Mumbai and Bihar team investigating into this matter, he said, “We haven't received the case-related documents from Mumbai police yet. We will collect all the documents, including the accidental death report, post-mortem and forensic reports and statements of people interviewed by Mumbai cops.”
