Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020. The actor’s post mortem was reportedly carried out by a team of five doctors at Cooper Hospital and the autopsy report had stated that Sushant died due to asphyxia caused by hanging. After the CBI took over Sushant’s death case, the autopsy report was reportedly sent to AIIMS Forensic department for reinvestigation. Now, the head of AIIMS forensic department informed that the report on Sushant’s autopsy could take 10 days.
According to India Today, the head Of AIIMS forensic department Dr. Sudhir Gupta said that the report on Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy could take up to 10 days and that the report will be submitted to the CBI in due course. According to India Today, Dr. Sudhir Gupta has said that this would take time and that the full medical board is examining all the findings that have been passed on from Mumbai. As there were speculations that the report may be given today or the day after, Dr. Sudhir Gupta has now clarified that it will take up to 10 days.
Meanwhile, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy tweeted yesterday about the reevaluation of the Cooper Hospital autopsy report.
In his tweet, Subramanian Swamy alleged, “There was systematic destruction in the evidence. This requires painstaking reconstruction. Since SSR was cremated next day, toughest is the re evaluation of the Cooper Hospital autopsy report.
