Sushant was found dead on June 14, in his Mumbai residence and allegedly died by suicide. It was recently that the Supreme Court declared its verdict and ordered a CBI probe in Rajput’s death case. According to a report in Republic, Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty apologized to the actor when she saw his mortal remains. As Rhea Chakraborty went to the mortuary before Rajput’s mortal remains were taken to perform the last rites, the report stated that a witness Sujeet Singh Rathore heard the actress apologizing to Sushant. Speaking with the channel, Sujeet Singh Rathore revealed that Rhea said, “I am sorry babu,” on seeing the mortal remains of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Rhea Chakraborty’s name was not included in the names of the 20 people attending Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral. Chakraborty’s lawyer mentioned in his statement that was released recently that Rajput’s family did not allow Rhea to attend his last rites that were performed on June 15, exactly a day after his demise.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans and close ones are demanding a CBI probe since the day of his demise. The late actor’s father KK Singh lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others, accusing them of abetment of suicide. With the CBI team in Mumbai currently, according to latest reports, the officials have taken Sushant’s cook Neeraj for questioning.
