The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested actress Rhea Chakraborty in connection to the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The arrest of the Bank Chor actress came after she was questioned for three days in a row by the NCB officials in Mumbai. In a significant development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, as per the report, Rhea Chakraborty told the NCB that SSR used to take so much of drugs. The report also states that Rhea revealed that SSR became a drug addict during the shoot of Kedarnath.

India Today reported that sources revealed that Rhea Chakraborty named Kedarnath actress Sara Ali Khan, in her statement with the NCB. As per the reports, Rhea revealed that Sara and Sushant extensively did drugs during the shooting of the 2018 film Kedarnath. The report stated that Chakraborty mentioned in her statement that it was at that time when SSR became addicted to drugs. According to the report, the Jalebi actress also revealed that during the #MeToo movement, when allegations were levelled against SSR, he started consuming more drugs.

It was earlier reported that actress Sara Ali Khan is likely to be summoned by the NCB in connection to the drugs angle in the SSR death case. Reportedly, apart from Sara Ali Khan, actress Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant’s Chhichhore co-star will also be summoned soon by the NCB, for questioning as she too frequented his Lonavala farmhouse.

Meanwhile, so far, Rhea Chakraborty is still under judicial custody. Apart from Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty, SSR’s staff members Dipesh Sawant, and Samuel Miranda, and peddlers were arrested by the NCB. On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) are also probing the SSR case.
