Much to everyone’s shock and dismay, it was on June 14 when the country lost Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput due to suicide. The actor hung himself in his Mumbai residence and it was his domestic help who informed the police about it. When the police arrived at the late actor’s Bandra residence, it was reported that no suicide note was left by Sushant. Now, as the officials investigate SSR’s death case, Roopa Ganguly requests for a CBI investigation and questions police how the actor’s demise was declared suicide without a note.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, Member of Parliament and former actress Roopa Ganguly shared a picture and tweeted, “How the police declared it as a suicide when no suicide note was found? #cbiforsushant #roopaganuly #AmitShah  #NarendraModi.” In the tweet, Ganguly questioned the police officials investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise case on how can they declare his death as a suicide when no suicide note was found.

After questioning the police officials in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the Member of the Parliament goes on to tag Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah bringing their attention towards the topic. Apart from that, Roopa Ganguly also requested for a thorough CBI investigation in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The former actress shared a picture with her tweet that read, “#cbiforsushant,” requesting a brief investigation in the death case of the late actor.


Meanwhile, it was reported that Sushant Singh Rajput suffered depression and was undergoing treatment for the same as well. After SSR’s demise, the police have been investigating the case and sharing updates as well. The police have recorded statements of family members and close friends and continue the investigation process. Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites took place on June 15, a day after his untimely demise and his ashes were immersed in the River Ganges by his family.
