Sushant Singh Rajput Death: SC Reserves Verdict Till August 13 On The Petition Filed By Rhea Chakraborty
The Supreme Court's verdict in Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking transfer of the FIR filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's father in Patna has now been reserved. Rhea wanted the FIR to be shifted to Mumbai Police. Lawyer Shyam Diwan reportedly argued in the court that the Bihar Police did not have any jurisdiction over Sushant Singh Rajput's case and hence, the FIR should be transferred to Mumbai Police. After hearing both sides of the argument, the Supreme Court has now reserved its orders in this case.

As reported by Republic, the Supreme Court has asked all the parties to submit written notes/replies in the case by Thursday. Though Rhea's lawyer Shyam Diwan argued that Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is being politicised, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta argued that "Investigation is only happening in Bihar. The validity of the FIR might be in question but there is no investigation in Mumbai at all."

Now, until Thursday, Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh, and other parties are expected to file their written replies in the plea seeking transfer of FIR.


Meanwhile in the Supreme Court, reportedly, Rhea also argued that she is being victimised in this case. "I was in love with Sushant Singh Rajput, I’ve been traumatised after his death but I’m being victimised right now," she said through her lawyer. She was even quizzed over her stand on the CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, to which Justice Roy reportedly said, "You yourself have asked for the CBI to come in; how they come and what happens with it comes later.
