In the days following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, there have been several new twists, and some shocking revelations were made by people linked to the actor. Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Patna, accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetting Sushant’s suicide. Sushant’s flatmate, while speaking to Republic TV, had revealed that on June 14, when Sushant did not respond to the knocking on his bedroom door, they called a locksmith to open the door. Now, Republic has revealed that six locksmiths were found in the vicinity of Sushant’s house, however, they all denied when asked if Mumbai Police questioned them.

The report in Republic states that a sting operation was conducted and about six locksmiths who had their shops in the vicinity of Sushant’s flat in Badra were asked whether the Mumbai Police approached them for interrogation in connection to Sushant’s death case. All six locksmiths reportedly denied being questioned by the Mumbai Police, and revealed that while media persons did speak to them, but no one from Mumbai Police asked them about any details.

Sushant’s cook, Neeraj Singh, in a conversation with Republic TV had said that on the day of Sushant’s death, the house helps started looking for keys to Sushant’s room after he wouldn’t open the door. After 15 minutes, Siddharth Pithani then suggested that a locksmith should be called.

“Sidharth knew the locksmith, called him through his phone. He had taken his number from someone,” said Neeraj to Republic TV. He also revealed that Siddharth had paid the locksmith Rs 2000 for breaking the lock. Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has now been transferred to the CBI. On August 7, the Enforcement Directorate had summoned Rhea Chakraborty, and the actress made her first public appearance after her visit to the Bandra Police Station, as she arrived at the ED office in Mumbai.
